White Oak Town Center Updates
The White Oak Town Center has some promising businesses coming to our area soon, with seven tenants now committed to the new property.

Santa and the Hillandale Volunteer Fire Department will be visiting our neighborhood again this year on Wednesday, December 20th starting at 6pm.
You can find additional information including other routes and neighborhood dates/times on the HVFD’s website here.

Bulk Trash Resources and Guidelines
Our trash contractor RRR provides TWO (2) bulk trash pickups per homeowner each year.
Details about the collection process:
Please email triplertrash@gmail.com to schedule. Typically, we schedule a
week in advance and we require 24 hr cancellation notification.
Items must be placed for pickup BY 7:00am on the curb or end of driveway
Do NOT include household trash among your items.
NOTE: RRR will recycle as much material as possible and will dispose of the rest in as environmentally friendly a method as possible.
Acceptable items:
Small Furniture
Potted plants
Televisions
Computer monitors or CPUs
Other electronic devices
Mattresses
Un-acceptable items:
Household trash
Tires
Liquid paint (as mentioned above, cans will be accepted but they must be opened and
dried out with sawdust or kitty litter)
Construction/renovation materials and debris (the refuse company can no longer
dispose of lumber, paneling or fencing pieces, drywall remnants, or broken
concrete)
Clothing items
Household chemicals such as fertilizer, weed or insect killer
Any items containing gasoline, oil, or antifreeze
Dead animal carcasses or Human or medical waste of any kind

Whitehall Square Residents,
Join us this Saturday, September 30th from 12n until 4pm for Whitehall Square Day! This day of family fun will be held at the Tot Lot on Whitehall Drive/Chiswick Court and is for residents of Whitehall Square. Come out and meet your neighbors and enjoy free food, games, and fun. We look forward to seeing you there!
On June 10th, the Whitehall Square Social Committee is planning a community yard sale from 9am to 12 noon and hoping that you want to participate! Offload some unwanted goods and give your old items a new life.
After the yard sale, we will host the Mister Softee ice cream truck in the tot lot on Whitehall Drive for one hour from 12 noon to 1pm. Come out to meet your neighbors and enjoy some free ice cream!
The rain date for this event will be June 11th.

Join Us at the Virtual Public Meeting!
The virtual Public Meeting for the Old Columbia Pike / Prosperity Drive Improvements Project will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., to present the project scope, obtain community input and answer questions. The meeting will be virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic; you can join us through your computer or by telephone.
Please register in advance to attend the meeting via the online registration form (click here) . On the morning of Thursday, March 16, 2023, you will receive an email providing the meeting link, passcode, and connection instructions for signing in and using the internet-based virtual platform.
